Ok, as I write this, it's raining very heavily outside today, and the forecast is pretty grim. Why not use this time to get excited about planting? Planning your green space can be just as much fun as actually being in it! Now is a great time to plant fruit bushes, garlic and also rhubarb. If you already have rhubarb and it's a few years old then think about lifting it, splitting into 2 or 3 pieces and replanting. By doing this you can double or even triple the number a wonderfully productive plants that you have now. Unfortunately I don't think a custard plant has yet been discovered, but we can hope. Each clove of garlic planted will give you a new bulb, so it's certainly worth doing, even if it's in a pot on the windowsill. Why not pop to the local garden centre and treat yourself to a very easy to look after fruit bush? They will keep producing more and more each year, they need very little maintenance indeed! Whatever you decide, have fun doing it. I'll post again soon Scott
